At The Louvre (a family owned and operated business) we restore and preserve (and frame) paintings, works on paper, antique and contemporary picture frames, gilded objects, and more. We currently work with clients throughout the United States and have been in business for over 35 years. We provide our high quality services to artists, art galleries, curators, private collectors, auction houses, interior designers, insurance companies and antique dealers. And of course, to our loyal customers and the general public who may have works of art with sentimental value. Work brought into the studio (or mailed in) is examined and an expence estimate is given at no charge. On location inspections and proposals are also available at no-cost locally in the Grass Valley/Nevada City, Ca area.
